Women in Tourism & Hospitality WA (WITH WA) is a Not-for-Profit incorporated association established in 2019 by ten professional women who wanted to support and assist the women of the tourism and hospitality industry in Western Australia. WITH WA is a place where women can come together to network, connect, share opportunities and support one another. The association works to recognise the challenges and opportunities for women in the sector and advocates for greater balance.
Our aim is to recognise the challenges and opportunities for women within the sector and to advocate for greater balance across the leadership roles within the industry.
Our vision is to inspire, motivate, connect, encourage, mentor and support women across the tourism and hospitality industry.
The WITH WA membership is diverse and represents women and men from all sectors of the tourism and hospitality industry. In late 2023 the South West Satellite Association of WITH WA was launched, furthering the reach across Western Australia.
Since inception, the aim has been to ensure women remain connected and informed by way of networking events, themed forums, social media channels and to also work in collaboration with other like-minded organisations.
Annual Member Programs
In addition to a very active events calendar, WITH WA run an important program focused on developing the future female leaders of the industry - The WITH Insights Mentor Circle Program.
The WITH Insights Mentor Circle Program brings together forward thinking, progressive and visionary leaders from the Tourism & Hospitality industry who have a drive to help develop the future female leaders. The program is delivered over a 6 month period with the format being a monthly 2 hour session in which each Mentee joins their Mentor Circle and participates in group discussions on selected topics. Each session commences with a Guest Speaker and the topics include: career path guidance, goal setting, overcoming career hurdles, networking and personal branding, financial literacy, presenting with courage and influence, and leadership. Launched in 2023, the program has seen 56 graduates complete the course to date, and a further 28 Mentees to join for the 2025 program.
